ICAEW fellow and Inmarsat CFO Rick Medlock has been appointed to the board of
UK and North American internet travel company, Cheapflights.
Medlock's new role as no-executive director is immediately effective,
alongside his role as audit committee chairman of Thus plc, the alternative
network telecom operator.
The senior executive brings 25 years of experience in senior and board level
financial positions in private equity funded and public companies in Europe and
the US.
His previous roles include that of CFO of pay TV company NDS and CFO of
insurance software provider Policy Management Systems.
Company CEO, Chris Cuddy said the company is 'very fortunate to have Rick
apply his talents to the Board.'
'His experience as a CFO in private and public international technology
companies is hugely relevant to our strategy of growth and international
expansion. I look forward to working with Rick,' said Cuddy.
Medlock said he is delighted to be joining the company.
