KPMG is taking on a senior office
partner at its Leeds office – Iain Moffatt, an audit partner, will replace
Duncan Mycock, who has been number one for nearly seven years.
KPMG told the Yorkshire Post the strong growth of its Leeds business from
auditing many of Yorkshire's biggest companies, including Morrisons, Persimmon
and HBOS, could be attributed to Mycock.
The Leeds office, which employs more than 700 people, recorded a fee income of
almost £100m last year
A KPMG spokeswoman said Mycock would be refocusing more on client work while
Moffatt would be doing more market-facing profile work.
