Nick Land is in bullish mood despite a torrid time of late. Battered most recently over his firm's audit of troubled life insurer Equitable Life (the case is currently trundling through the courts), the Ernst & Young UK chairman has also faced accusations that E&Y is trying to stage a return to the consulting arena. 2004 is a year he would probably not care to repeat.
