UK IT services company Logica saw its
revenue rise slightly in the first quarter of financial year 2008, up just 3.6
per cent to £856m from £826m a year earlier.
Despite modest growth elsewhere in Europe, UK revenues remained stationary at
£175m, a fact Logica chief executive Andy Green was keen to play down.
“I am pleased with the progress we are making in the UK where we have
announced a number of new wins since the beginning of the first quarter,” he
said in a statement.
Logica announced a restructuring program, which includes up to 1,300 job
losses, in April this year in a bid to improve its revenue growth.
