Operated as a joint venture named Joint Retail Logistics, the deal will involve the servicing of all Marks & Spencer's general merchandise transport requirements throughout the UK and Ireland. This agreement will see the management of collections from suppliers of all M&S's non-food merchandise.[QQ] ITNET has been appointed as supplier by the London Borough of Enfield for an infrastructure and applications outsourcing contract worth almost £60m. Running for 10 years, the contract is expected to deliver savings of £10m to the council. ITNET will support the council's IT infrastructure and applications.[QQ] Cap Gemini has clinched a three-year, £8m deal with B&Q to support the DIY giant's expansion in the UK and abroad. The new contract renews and extends an existing two-year deal between the companies. The company will be involved in the trust's plans to relocate the Mary Rose to a new site in Portsmouth.[QQ] Druid has completed a project worth £300,000 to implement a Baan ERP system at Eadie Holdings. Eadie has had an overhaul of its IT system ensuring millennium compliance. The three-year, applications management outsourcing contract will see Logica manage the migration of Savacentre's systems to match those of its parent company, J Sainsbury.[QQ] Oracle has invested $10m in a millennium scheme designed to help UK schoolchildren learn through Internet technology. The Oracle Millennium Project aims to provide e-mail addresses and web-based learning facilities for 10,000 children.[QQ] Corporate Project Solutions has been awarded a contract to supply project management and workflow software to the Medical Devices Agency.[QQ] KPMG has linked up with SAP to launch a business-to-business procurement solution designed to reduce business costs. The system allows companies to buy electronically using electronic catalogues.[QQ] Pharmaceutical company Takeda has placed a £250,000 order with Oxygen for customer relationship management software. The system is to go live in mid-1999.
