RSS feedsGuy Warren, UK managing director of financial services for LogicaCMG has been appointed as UK chief executive for the consulting firm.
Warren, who was profiled in the July issue of Management Consultancy will take up the position with immediate effect but will continue to work within financial services.
LogicaCMG also announced three more appointments in a New Year executive reshuffle.
Jim McKenna, chief executive for the UK and Ireland and more recently Germany becomes chief operating officer. McKenna has been a main board director of Logica and subsequently LogicaCMG since February 1998. He will focus on the month to month delivery of the group's operating results.
In a statement, the firm said the move would allow Martin Read, group chief executive to spend more time on 'medium and longer term' issues.
Reinoud Drenth joins the executive committee as chief executive for the group's operations in France, Belgium, central and eastern Europe, Nordics and Baltics. Drenth was previously responsible for managing the LogicaCMG's outsourcing operations in the Netherlands.
Nick Caplan, currently managing director of global financial services will take over the role of international lines of business director from Bernd Lantermann at the end of June 2005.
Read said: 'Now that the merger of Logica and CMG has been successfully implemented, these changes will support the continued development of the group.'
