PA Consulting has announced a major reshuffle of its senior management team, with 10 appointments that will take effect on 1 January next year.
In a statement the firm said the restructuring followed an 'extensive review' of the overall management structure and responsibilities within the company that was 'designed to continue the rolling process of phased succession in senior management positions in the company'.
It added that the reshuffle would 'underpin PA's growth strategy by strengthening the focus on priority industry sectors'.
The most senior change was that of Andrew Hooke who moves from group head of the government services group at PA to the role of chief operating officer. Jon Moynihan will continue as executive chairman.
Michael O'Higgins, currently head of IT consulting at PA, takes over as group head of the government services group and will also lead the new public health practice. Sue Barton takes over the home affairs and critical national infrastructure practice to become deputy group head and a member of the extended management committee.
Patrick Kelly steps up to become group head of PA's IT consulting group, and Alan Middleton becomes practice head of IT strategy and also deputy group head and also takes a place on the extended management committee.
Jeremy Stanyard moves across from the business transformation group to become group head of the strategy and industries group and will also lead the UK financial services practice.
Troels Gregersen moves up to become group head of the business transformation group and becomes a full member of the management committee. Nick Chaffey becomes practice head of the new defense industries practice, deputy group head of BTG and a member of the extended management committee. Tom McEwan takes over as practice head of the project management practice from Jeremy Stanyard.
Ian Rhodes, currently deputy practice head in product and process engineering, steps up to become deputy group head for the technology group and a member of the extended management committee.
Bruce Tindale, PA's CEO, said: 'In making these management changes we are recognising and promoting into positions of influence within PA people who are currently achieving great success in the marketplace and who we believe will help sustain the market facing focus so vital in a business like ours.'
